Every moment your life should be celebrated and valued.
Yes, we need to celebrate the major milestones, but life is so precious, every second of it. I preserve the moments, memories and people that you value, and ultimately provide you with photographs that become more valuable over time.
Hi, I'm Polly (that's me in the picture below smiling like a cheshire cat as I was surrounded by 5 of my couples at 1 wedding). I grew up in London, but met my husband Toby in Cornwall whilst I was at university, and never really went back. We live in a little fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall with our son, ageing Bullmastiff x Rhodesian Ridgeback called Bear, oh and we now seem to have acquired 2 young seagulls that visit us for breakfast and dinner each day. As a child I wanted to meet everyone in the world and experience everything life has to offer. I soon realised this was quite a tall order, but my cameras enable me to work towards my childhood dreams. I get to meet so many amazing people, experience new cultures and the life stories of others, whilst discovering new places too.
People are everything to me. I love to bring them together, make people feel included and witness the joy one person can create in another and add joy and light to their lives myself. It is amazing to capture interaction, emotion, laughter between friends, adoration from parents towards children, affection, chemistry and banter between couples. Add some amazing light into this mix and I am one very happy girl.
I take photographs all the time, always have and always will. I do it to make sense of the world around me, record what I want to share with others, and to acknowledge the wonders of everyday life - connections between people, the beauty in nature and the wonder of architecture and human creations.
When I am not photographing other people's lives, I am back in Cornwall with my boys, muddling our way though parenthood and the lessons of life, trying to grow and keep plants alive, catching up with friends and making the most of our amazing coastline and countryside. I love to get my fix of the big city, yet equally love the feeling of walking on the moors or beach with the sun on my face and no one around me for miles as it helps me realise just how big this wonderful world of ours is.
I hope to meet you soon, perhaps over a coffee or glass of wine -GET IN TOUCH Massive thanks to the amazing Alex Bradbury for the photo of me at a wedding I did with him & Michael Harper for the epic selfie with some of the best peers a girl could ask for.
