Tamsin & Martin | Luxulyan Church & Knightor, Cornwall
Yesterday was amazing. Tamsin & Martin got married early afternoon at the quintessential Luxulyan Church, here in Cornwall. If you listened to the forecast, then you would have been crazy to go out, with threats of Storm Hannah, but we were actually treated to what could possibly have been the best weather for a wedding; a mix of blue skies and sunshine, with the odd ominous dark cloud that threatened rain, but only delivered the most wonderful soft and flattering light.
After their ceremony, they travelled by bus to Knightor Winery for their reception.
It was my first time photographing at either of the two venues and I had been so excited at the opportunity to capture the variety of scenery at both places. I am delighted that the weather held off for them so that they were able to fully enjoy the venues that they had chosen to celebrate their day.
It was also my first time working with, not only the team at Knightor and the wonderful Rev Jules Williams at Luxulyan, but also videographers Frances & Rhona from Imogen and James, who had travelled down from York capture their day, Penny from Wedding Makeup Cornwall & Emilie from Emilie's Hair and Makeup. I hope we get to work together again very soon!
Tamsin & Martin, Congratulations once again and thank you so much for asking me to capture it all for you and thank you so much to your family & friends for making me so welcome. That really does make a huge difference. Here are a few sneak peeks from your day. I can't wait to get the rest of them edited at too you as soon as possible.
